Lightweight with tripod connection
The modern and robust construction of the magnesium housing, which weighs 35% less than aluminum, makes the ASTRO & MARINE binoculars very light. This low weight and the moderate 10x magnification make them very suitable for hands-free use. However, they have a tripod connection thread on the central axis. This allows you to mount the ASTRO & MARINE model on a stable camera tripod using the adapter already included (item no. 4914925). Although this is not absolutely necessary with a 10x magnification, it is highly recommended, especially for long astronomical observations, in order to obtain an absolutely stable image.
Eyepieces for comfortable viewing
Thanks to the precise adjustment of the single eyepiece, you only need to focus the binoculars once, and then you can clearly see all objects in the sky or on the horizon. Another advantage of this design: the focus cannot be adjusted so easily unintentionally. The rubberized roll-up eyecups and the eyepieces with a comfortable 20 mm pupil distance allow people who wear glasses to enjoy the entire field of view.
High-quality optics
Thanks to their fully multi-coated Bak4 optical elements, their large 50 mm objective diameters and their highly corrected eyepieces with 5 lenses in 3 groups, these powerful binoculars deliver bright and razor-sharp images. The diaphragm and the blackening of the housing inside the binoculars help to reduce stray light to a minimum. This allows for the best possible optical imaging and perfect vision even in difficult lighting conditions.
